Our History
La Mania was founded in 2010 by Joanna Przetakiewicz as a response to the need for a modern, complete wardrobe for women. From the beginning, the brand has developed around the idea of conscious design, rooted in quality fabrics, precision of form and a timeless approach to dressing. Strong tailoring, modern production technologies and constructions designed for the rhythm of contemporary life play a defining role in the brand’s identity.
Today, La Mania is led by Aleksander Przetakiewicz. It is one of Poland’s most recognisable fashion houses, while remaining true to the values that have shaped its character from the very beginning. The brand continues to develop collections built on quality, precision of craftsmanship and a timeless approach to design, as it prepares for the next stage of growth in international markets.

La Mania is founded, a fashion house created around a modern approach to the women’s wardrobe.
2010
The brand’s first runway show takes place at Zachęta National Gallery of Art in Warsaw, highlighting La Mania’s connection with art and architecture.
2010
Karl Lagerfeld becomes the brand’s honorary patron.
2012
La Mania presents its collection during London Fashion Week as part of the International Fashion Showcase.
2012
The brand enters Harrods in London, becoming the first Polish fashion house to do so.
2014
Aleksander Przetakiewicz takes over the leadership of the brand, continuing the development of its design vision.
2019
La Mania Home is launched, expanding the world of the brand into collections dedicated to interiors.
2021
The brand unveils a new visual identity inspired by the minimalist language of form that defines La Mania.

ATELIER
La Mania Atelier is the heart of the brand’s design process. It is where all prototypes and key garment constructions are developed.
The entire process, from the first pattern to the final sample, takes place in our atelier. Designers, pattern makers, garment technologists and seamstresses work on proportions, cut lines and details, refining every element of each design.
Before the final version is created, each piece goes through a series of fittings, allowing the construction and fit to be precisely adjusted. Every design passes through successive stages of refinement before it is approved for production.

Good design extends beyond the collections and finds its expression in the interiors of La Mania boutiques.
Design, architecture and art have always held a special place in the world of the brand. That is why La Mania boutiques were created as spaces where the collection can be experienced naturally, with time and ease.
Above all, La Mania boutiques are spaces dedicated to our clients. They are places for meetings, conversations and building relationships, where the collection becomes a starting point for understanding individual needs and finding pieces that best reflect each woman’s style and everyday life.
Natural materials, stone, wood, soft fabrics and handcrafted elements create an atmosphere of comfort and calm. Spacious fitting rooms and considered architecture allow attention to rest on what matters most: form, quality and detail.
Today, La Mania has nine boutiques in Poland. Each one has been created with a conscious brand experience in mind, personal, comfortable and centred around the collection.
